Before sending in your instrument or product for repairs/assessment, we recommend contacting us at support@sweelee.com.sg so we can advise you accordingly.

Should you need to send in the instrument or product, here are the operating days and hours of our Swee Lee Service Centre—Collection & Drop-Off Point.

  • Closed on Sundays, Mondays & Public Holidays
  • Tuesdays - Saturdays: 10:30 am - 6.00 pm

Our Service Centre is relocating to 61 Ubi Ave 1, #05-12, UB Point, Singapore 408941. Operations at Bras Basah Complex will cease on Wednesday, 20 November, and resume at the new location on Friday, 22 November.

Swee Lee Warranty Terms and Conditions

  1. The SL Warranty is not transferable and is valid only for the original purchaser (“you”).

  2. Your product must have been purchased from Swee Lee Holdings Pte Ltd's (“our”, “we” or “us”) retail outlets in Singapore and/or from our on-line shop at https://www.sweelee.com.sg.

  3. The SL Warranty is valid for one (1) year from the date of purchase (“Warranty Period”) and only in Singapore except for the following brands and product categories, which are covered as listed below:

    • Fender / Squier Guitars - 2 years
    • Heritage Guitars - 2 years
    • Harmony Guitars - 2 years
    • Focusrite and Novation - 3 years
    • Fender Amplifiers & Pro Audio - 2 years
    • IK Multimedia - 2 years
    • Strymon Power Supplies - 5 years
    • Neural DSP Quad Cortex - 3 years
    • Vinyl - 7 days
    • Vacuum Tubes - 90 days
    • Power Adapters - 180 days
  4. When making a warranty claim, you must comply with the warranty claims procedure. The original purchase receipt must be presented upon our request.

  5. The SL Warranty covers defects in material and workmanship under everyday use and includes parts and labour. The defective product or parts will be replaced or repaired (with comparable and/or refurbished parts) at our sole and absolute discretion. Any product or part replaced shall become our property.

  6. The SL Warranty does not cover:

  7. Damage Due to Misuse or Negligence

The warranty does not cover any damage resulting from misuse, abuse, or neglect of the product. This includes, but is not limited to: improper handling, exposure to extreme temperatures or humidity, or failure to follow the operational guidelines provided by the manufacturer. Any damage to the instrument or product due to over-exposure to excessive humidity, temperature, sunlight, or if the guitar or other product has not been kept in a safe and proper environment is also excluded from the warranty. This applies to guitars, digital pianos, digital drums, tube amplifiers, and all other consumer electronic products.

  • Unauthorised Repairs or Modifications

Any repairs or modifications performed by individuals or entities not authorised by the manufacturer will void the warranty. This includes alterations to the internal circuitry, unauthorised replacement of components, changes to the product's design or functionality, and any repair attempts on guitars, digital pianos, digital drums, amplifiers, or other electronic devices.

  • Normal Wear and Tear

The warranty does not cover components subject to normal wear and tear, such as guitar strings, drum pads, or keys in digital pianos, which may require periodic replacement. Any normal wear-and-tear to the instrument or product, including but not limited to discolouration, fading or damage to the original finish, worn frets, strings, tuners, jacks, switches, pickups, corrosion or rusting of hardware and plating, is also excluded from the warranty. Vacuum tubes, while subject to normal wear, are covered under a limited 90-day warranty. After this period, any vacuum tube replacement is the owner's responsibility.

  • Cosmetic Damage

The warranty does not cover damage to the product's exterior, including scratches, dents, or other forms of cosmetic wear.

  • Subjective Judgment

The warranty does not cover defects involving subjective judgements and opinions regarding the product’s characteristics. This includes complaints regarding the natural characteristics of wood grain, the colour of the guitar or other wood components, or other aesthetic elements that vary by product.

  • Inadequate Ventilation or Overheating

The warranty does not cover damage caused by inadequate ventilation or overheating of digital pianos, digital drums, amplifiers, or other electronic devices. The product must be used in accordance with the manufacturer's guidelines for ventilation and operating conditions.

  • Power Surge or Electrical Issues

Damage resulting from power surges, electrical outages, or improper power supply connections is not covered. Products such as amplifiers, digital pianos, digital drums, and other electronics should be connected to a suitable power source and protected by a surge protector.

  • Improper Use of Accessories

The warranty does not cover issues arising from the use of accessories or external equipment not provided or recommended by the manufacturer. This includes the use of unsuitable guitar pedals, amp accessories, or peripherals for digital pianos and drums.

  • Use Outside of Intended Purpose

The warranty does not cover damage or malfunction resulting from using the product for purposes other than those intended by the manufacturer. This applies to the professional use of products designed for personal or recreational use, including guitars, digital pianos, digital drums, amplifiers, and other consumer electronic devices.

  • Third-Party Parts

The warranty does not cover damage caused by the use of third-party parts, accessories, or components not approved by the manufacturer for guitars, amplifiers, digital pianos, digital drums, and other consumer electronic products.

  1. In all cases, our technician will assess the instrument/product to determine if it is eligible for a warranty claim. If the defect or damage is determined to fall within the above, the warranty claim will be invalid and rejected. All our technicians' decisions will be final, conclusive and binding on you.

  2. All and any incidental charges, such as consumables, shipping or delivery fees to and from us, will be borne by you.

  3. You will collect your product promptly upon being notified by us. You agree that any product uncollected after one (1) month shall be deemed abandoned and may be disposed of without further notice to you in any way we deem fit. We may also claim any damages from you including any costs of the storage of the product. We reserve the right of lien for unpaid charges.

  4. These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed under the laws of Singapore.

Items Damaged In Transit

Remember to inspect all items and ensure you are completely satisfied that your package has arrived in good condition. If you believe your item(s) have been damaged in transit, please contact us within 24 hours to let us know. We reserve the right to reject a return if we are not notified within 24 hours.
